I admit it. I was starting to take the dozen or so unreturned donor phone calls personally. So this morning I googled the question in the title line. Walla! One of the most interesting searches lately. The first article from The New York Times, “Don’t Call Me, I Won’t Call You,” deals with the changing sociology of phone usage. Suddenly, I feel a lot better. It’s not just me!

This Washington Post article, “Texting generation doesn’t share boomers’ taste for talk,” explores generational differences regarding using the phone versus texting, and is especially good to understand how Millennials operate – and it’s also good for parents who want to understand how their children like to connect, and vice versa.
