Why do we go to houses of worship this weekend? Isn’t it that we each, in our own way, hope to catch a little larger glimpse of something transcendent–that which is beyond our normal grasp, something usually shut off from view to the finite?

So, God, please crack a window today that will let us peer into the heart and soul of our Creator. Help us better understand who we are, and what we are made for, by pulling back the veil for a brief moment–long enough for us to see and experience Who made us, and for what reason. And cracked open wide and long enough for every willing creature to revere You.
