Our waitress seemed a little down so I struck up a conversation. Her car wouldn’t start and, not having much money, she was overwhelmed.

At 26, she’s a single mom trying to raise six and eight year old boys. Their father isn’t in the picture. He abandoned her to raise his two sons on her tips.

When we said grace over lunch, I invited her to join us, she did, and I sensed that God encouraged her heart. What a perfect example of why God wants us to disciple men.

Men need to know the destructive forces they will set in motion if they walk away. What a perfect example of why we must urgently encourage “every church to disciple every man.”
