Our Work For God vs. Our Walk With God

23 Jan 2024

Our work for God will always be a reflection of our walk with God. That’s principle #1 at Man in the Mirror. As the saying goes, you can’t give what you don’t have. When a man tells me he doesn’t have enough time to do private devotions or be in a small group, I know what he really means is that it’s not a priority. At Man in the Mirror we put a premium on maintaining work/life balance. We don’t want to be a ministry that teaches one thing, while practicing another. Let’s be honest – we all have enough time to do everything we really want to do. Remember the difference between Mary listening to Jesus and Martha distracted by the preparations? Mary first; there will be plenty of time to be Martha.
