There are only two languages in the world: truth and lies. The first language—the native tongue—of every man is lies. Before I became a Christian—like a lot of men—I would often lie even if the truth would serve me better. When we receive Christ we become bilingual. We learn a second language—the language of truth. But what happens if we don’t regularly speak our second language? We revert to our native tongue. Romans 1:25 reminds us that every morning we go into a world where all day long we’re tempted to exchange the truth of God for a lie. That said, the world is waiting for men who will speak only truth. Today, let’s be those men.
