Yesterday the Headquarters Staff of Man in the Mirror held our semi-annual prayer retreat. For years, Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) has invited us to use the tranquil setting of their campus here in Orlando. We prayed for all our partners and staff – many of whom had submitted specific prayer requests. That means we probably prayed for you!

On the wall outside the room where we met were several posters from alumni to help celebrate the recent 25th anniversary of the Orlando campus of RTS. David and I both consider it an honor and privilege to call ourselves RTS alums, and to be asked to say something about our school. Here’s our tribute…

“We use the lessons we learned in seminary every single day. Every day we are called upon to help men answer tough questions about faith, manhood, marriage, fathering, tithing, sex – you name it. Pat says, ‘We do one thing – men’s discipleship. And it’s my seminary training from RTS that gives me the confidence to speak truth into men’s lives with authority.’ David says, ‘I can’t imagine a better preparation for our work than my time at RTS. I learned perhaps the greatest lesson of all – how to think biblically. That informs everything we do here at Man in the Mirror.'”
