After all is considered, the number one shortcoming of man is that we tend to lead unexamined lives. Most men have not carefully chiseled their worldview by a personal search for truth and obedience to God.
Instead, we rush from task to busy task, but we don’t call enough time-outs to reflect on life’s larger meaning and purpose. Spiritually, many of us are just going through the motions. As a lawyer or electrician is no better than the effort he puts into keeping up with his trade, so is the Christian no better than the effort he puts into examining life’s big questions.
Men, when is the last time you carefully chiseled away at your worldview?
Until every church disciples every man…
