Christian In Spirit, Secular In Practice

23 Jan 2024

Secularists are doing a much better job to influence our culture than Christians. School prayer was made illegal in 1961, abortion was made legal in 1973, and the major networks stopped censoring TV programming in 1989. Since those watershed decisions, virtually every other valued institution has also experienced significant erosion.

Along the way, many of us have been become Christians in our spirit, but secular in our practice. Colossians 2:8 tells us, “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.”

Until every church disciples every man…
