Picture men, lots of men, under pressure, zooming down the fast lanes of life, straining to keep pace. Some are oblivious. Some are starting to wonder about it. Others are weary. Still others have “hit the wall.”
In the process of pursuing career goals many men neglect their wives emotionally, and slowly, the two of them grow apart. Taking a cue from Dad, kids often run their own mini-rat races, and Dads sometimes feel left out and unappreciated. Twenty years later it slowly dawns on these men that they gave their best years to careers that promised but couldn’t deliver.
Men, don’t take twenty years to figure this out for yourself. Give time to whom time is due.
Until every church disciples every man…
