Watch TV commercials one evening and ask yourself, If these commercials are true, then who am I, and what am I?

When I was a young father, I virtually stopped watching television and tried to read more books. First Corinthians 6:12 says we “have the right to do anything, but not everything is beneficial.”

Wouldn’t we all like the models for our children to be in the sacrifices and contributions of famous scientists, artists, thinkers, missionaries, statesmen, builders, and other heroes and saints? They are out there, but we are not usually going to find them through popular media.
