For Anyone Whose Life Is Not Turning Out Like You Planned

23 Jan 2024

For anyone whose life is not turning out like you planned, consider the source of your worldview. Is it from a professor who deeply impacted you? A business guru who opened your eyes? A positive thinking Jedi master who renewed your self-confidence? Just how many followers do you think he or she has? 100,000? 1,000,000?

Now consider how many followers Jesus has. The number is now more than 2 billion of those alive today, plus all those who for the last 2,000 years have called Him Lord.

Now ask yourself, “Has anything I’ve done since I chose to believe this way really made my life better?”

If you don’t like the answer, consider the wisdom of not going against history, not going against the grain, of giving the majority credit, and of coming humbly to Jesus and asking for the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Don’t bet your life on the views of someone who will soon be forgotten.

Until every church disciples every man…
