Most mornings I think about 1 John 3:1, “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”

How has the Father “lavished His great love” on us?

Jesus. Jesus is the full, total, complete, perfect expression of God’s love.

Sending Jesus was the supreme genius idea in all of history. He is all of God in a human body, the visible image of the invisible God.

Can you even imagine being relegated to worship God without Jesus? Neither can I!
