Nearly every day I meditate on John 15:15. Today something occurred to me that I had never thought about before.

Jesus said, “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

He said the reason he tells us everything the Father told him is because we are his friends.

Interesting. Jesus considered the sign of his friendship that he would tell us what the Father was telling him.

Telling others what the Father is telling us.

I guess that’s what friends do.
