Peter’s Plan: The Only One Way Out Of This Mess

23 Jan 2024

You made a mistake. You messed up. You’ve made a shipwreck of things. Now what? What should you do?

“What should we do?” That’s the same question those who wrongly crucified Jesus were asking Peter.

“Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, ‘Brothers, what shall we do?’

“And Peter said to them, ‘Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

‘For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself'” (Acts 2:37-39).

On that day, 3,000 did exactly that.

No matter how you got into your current situation, there is only one way out. One way back. One way to make it  right. It’s Peter’s Plan: Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Welcome home.
