On April 29-30, Man in the Mirror presented our third No Man Left Behind Essentials training of the year at First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, SC. The event was co-sponsored by MIM Area Director Chris Rondeau, of the Western Upstate Coalition for Men’s Discipleship. Man in the Mirror’s National Field Director and Leadership Training Center faculty Jeff “Coach K” Kisiah was greatly encouraged by his time with the men. The 45 leaders in attendance represented more than 6000 men across their congregations back home, spanning 5 states, and included the State Director for the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Here’s what one pastor had to say about what he learned at the event: “I came here this weekend looking for a strategy…and I received one that I’m excited about implementing. But more importantly, I have now fully realized I don’t know my players, and need to reflect on that takeaway as well!” – Pastor Fred, Calvary Church To find out more about No Man Left Behind leadership training, which is having a real impact on men’s discipleship efforts in churches across the country, visit nomanleftbehind.org
