Job said, “God is angry with me.”
But we know from Chapter 1 of Job that not only was God not angry, He delighted in Job. What is true is that Job felt way.
When you and I genuinely feel we are on the wrong side of God, that doesn’t mean we are. Just saying something is so doesn’t make it so.
Instead, as believers, we put our hope and faith in the trustworthiness of God and His Word, not the imprecise and undependable feedback of our emotions.
Maybe that’s why God gave us the story of Job.
