Quiz: If you had to choose between two players, which one would you rather have: a highly skilled player who’s unpredictable, or an average player you can absolutely count on every time?

Every coach will tell you, give me that average guy, that dependable, faithful guy I can count on. That’s the kind of men that God is looking for.

If you are a man who wants to make a difference for God, you can be average, even below average, in ability–as long as you will be faithful. Paul did not say to Timothy, “Entrust the things you have heard me say to EXTRAORDINARY men.” He said, “To FAITHFUL men.”

Men, God is not looking for extraordinary, although He’ll take you if you are. If we are breathing, we can be a faithful man. That’s the deal.
