As a young Christian I read that Billy Graham was asked, “How do you want to be remembered?”
He responded, “I don’t want to be remembered.”
Yesterday I was talking with a close friend about legacy. Because of what Billy Graham said, I told him I’ve never cared about legacy.
Then I said something to my friend that has, in the short span of 24 hours, completely clarified and focused the mission part of the rest of my life: “I just want to reach as many men as possible for Jesus, then die.”
I sit here stunned and amazed by how much a few words from a virtual stranger can mark our lives. Thank you Mr. Graham.
