There Is No Promise In The Bible More Hopeful Than This

23 Jan 2024

For some of you, I know what you are going through and my heart aches for you. For most of you I don’t know, yet this morning my heart aches for you anyway.

So today I am praying and claiming for you AND your family the remarkable promise of Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good.”

What strains our belief in this promise is that God works in “Bible time,” not “earth time.” And his idea of what is “good” is not just about the current situation.

That’s because the main thing that is always happening is this: God is sovereignly orchestrating all human events – even the seemingly random circumstances of our lives – to bring us into a right relationship with Him and a right relationship with each other.

So, today, let’s all remember and strive to…

  1. Trust God.
  2. Love without conditions.
  3. Pray expecting a good answer, and
  4. Keep the faith.

Help is on the way. And that’s a promise.

Until we reach every man…
